Keeping Connected

AASucess's Corner:

I remember seeing my 2 year old daughter encounter snow for the first time. She was surprisingly overwhelmed, touching the fluffy snow with joy and care—and this kind of “rain” seemed to amaze her, and yet at the time I was immune to the effect of the snowfall. Perhaps with the passage of time, I have awareness of snow, which my daughter did not have. Speaking of awareness, below are AASuccess announcements and updates:

A Letter of Acknowledgement from the Vietnam Medical Assistance Program (VNMAP)

Dear AAS Board and Student Council,I am writing this letter on the behalf of the Viet Nam Medical Assistance Program (VNMAP)'s Board to express our appreciation for the support of the AAS's board and council members in helping us choose a highly qualified AAS member to be in our mission team 2008.This year, we had a number of applicants that applied to our program both as professional students and volunteers. After carefully considering of our applicants, we have selected 8 medical students and 4 volunteers to be in the 2008 medical mission team. Bao Nguyen from AASucess has been selected to be one of our volunteers. From his application, he impressed us with his strong commitment, a driving will to help the people in Vietnam, and a great attitude to learn about the culture as well as the medical relief work. Thus, we- the VNMAP Board- would like to share our congratulation to Bao Nguyen with the AAS Board and Student Council. Thanks for your trust and support. We hope to have your continuous support to VNMAP and Bao Nguyen. Speaking on my own behalf as an AASuccess member, I strongly believe that the mentorship and support from AAS family to an active member such as Bao Nguyen will help him soon become a new great leader in our community.

Best regards,
VNMAP- Program Coordinator
Nguyen Nguyen
